Guillaume Hekimian, MD
Intensive care specialist and cardiologist
Professor Guillaume Hekimian is an intensive care specialist and cardiologist at La Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris, where he serves in the Department of Intensive Care. With over 15 years of clinical and academic experience, he is a recognized expert in cardiology and critical care medicine. Prof. Hekimian is an active member of the Société de Réanimation de Langue Française and has authored more than 100 scientific publications. At Santé Arménie Medical Academy, he contributes as a trainer, sharing his expertise in modern approaches to intensive care and cardiology.
Dr. Tifenn Boisseau, MD
Emergency medicine physician
Dr. Tifenn Boisseau is an emergency medicine physician at the University Hospital Centre of Poitiers, where she works in the Emergency Department and Emergency Medical Service. She has extensive experience across emergency medicine, intensive care, cardiology, pediatrics, and infectious diseases, having trained in leading hospitals across France. Since 2022, Dr. Boisseau has been an active member of Santé Arménie, where she leads the Emergency Medicine Group and develops training programs for Armenian health professionals. She has organized and delivered emergency medicine training in Goris and Kapan hospitals and is also engaged in humanitarian and volunteer activities, including support for war victims in Artsakh.
Mrs. Gayane Khachatryan-Hovhannisyan
Certified nurse anesthetist
Mrs. Gayane Khachatryan-Hovhannisyan is a certified nurse anesthetist at Simone Veil Hospital in France, specializing in anesthesia, obstetrics, and critical care. With over 20 years of professional experience in Armenia and France, she has worked in surgical intensive care, obstetrics, and perioperative monitoring. Since 2020, she has been actively engaged with Santé Arménie, leading initiatives for nurse training and capacity building in Armenia. Each year, she organizes national conferences and practical workshops across different regions of Armenia, reaching and training more than 700 nurses. Through her humanitarian and professional contributions, Mrs. Khachatryan-Hovhannisyan plays a key role in strengthening Franco-Armenian collaboration in nursing and healthcare education.
Prof. Arsène Mekinian, MD, PhD
University professor and hospital practitioner
Prof. Arsène Mekinian is a university professor and hospital practitioner in the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Antoine Hospital, Paris. He specializes in systemic diseases and has extensive clinical and academic expertise in autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions. Prof. Mekinian serves as the President of Santé Arménie, where he leads strategic initiatives fostering Franco-Armenian collaboration in healthcare, medical education, and clinical research. He has been principal investigator and chief investigator in multiple international clinical trials, particularly in the fields of Sjögren’s syndrome, giant cell arteritis, and recurrent miscarriages. Through his leadership, Prof. Mekinian plays a central role in advancing medical science and strengthening healthcare partnerships between France and Armenia.
Mrs. Nadia Gortzounian
Physician by training
Mrs. Nadia Gortzounian is a physician by training, graduated from Paris VII University, and holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris. She has 28 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry at Merck & Co in France, where she held leadership roles across medical, marketing, and sales departments, and served as Business Unit Director for primary care products for 15 years. Beyond her professional career, she has been deeply engaged in community leadership: President of AGBU France and AGBU Europe since 2016, and a member of the AGBU Central Board since 2020. She is also Treasurer and General Secretary of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations in France (CCAF) and serves on the Board of the French University in Armenia (UFAR). As Treasurer and co-founder of Santé Arménie, Mrs. Gortzounian plays a key role in advancing Franco-Armenian healthcare collaboration. She is based in Paris and is the proud grandmother of three.
