In April 2025, Santé Arménie Medical Academy carried out a large-scale educational mission dedicated to the continuous training and professional development of nurses. With the support of international and local partners, our team visited Gyumri, Sisian, and Yerevan, organizing both theoretical and practical trainings for more than 750 nurses from various healthcare institutions across Armenia.

The educational sessions covered some of the most pressing topics in nursing practice:
✔ Care and complication prevention in patients with diabetes
✔ Proper use of medications and recognition of hyperglycemia symptoms
✔ Specifics of anesthesia in high-risk patients
✔ Safe organization of nursing care in patients undergoing hemodialysis and related complications

The trainings were delivered by highly experienced experts:
🔹 Gayane Khachatryan-Hovhannisyan (France)
🔹 Natacha Guignard (France)
🔹 Marie Saryan (Canada)

This initiative served as an effective platform for knowledge and expertise exchange between Armenian and international professionals. It enabled hundreds of nurses to acquire up-to-date knowledge and practical skills that are directly applicable in their professional practice.

🙏 We extend our sincere gratitude to our partners — the local medical centers, the Armenian Nurses Association, and especially our volunteer lecturers — for their dedication and professionalism.

Mission Nurses Santé Arménie – April 2025 once again demonstrated that continuous education and international collaboration are key pillars for the development of nursing and the strengthening of the healthcare system in Armenia.
